DESCRIPTION:We are once again seeking volunteers to help us with our annual pond shoreline sweep. Come enjoy the outdoors and make a difference in the quality of water in our community. As a Village\, we know how important it is to manage our stormwater\, so with The Conservation Foundation's support we target the ponds in town. Because of this effort our village is more attractive\, the water flow through the county is improved and the wildlife if healthier and happier. The Conservation Foundation supplies the pokers\, bags and gloves. I do hope you will be joining us on Saturday\, May 19th. We can arrange a weekday if that works better for a group. We already have commitments from four companies in town. Their employees and families will be joining us to sweep a pond. We also have two loyal Cub Scout Packs that participates every year. We are always looking for participants that want to show volunteer hours on college applications. Remember\, family members are also welcome. Hope to hear from you soon.
