Lisa Schvach\, Director of the Workforce Development Division of DuPage County\, will introduce you to services and programs available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Learn how to make these no charge resources work for your business and be in on the best kept secret in DuPage County.\n\n\n\nChamber member Amit Mehta of TechVoo has experience with worknet as an employer and says "HALF of your new employee's salary can be paid by DuPage County for 6 months! If the potential employee works or lives in DuPage county\, they may qualify for the county's workNET program."\n\n \n\nLisa Schvach began her career with the Workforce Development Division of DuPage County in 2002 as a Career Counselor. She eventually moved into the realm of business services\, where she has pioneered many programs and initiatives while developing a complete business services team to serve employers throughout the County. She became Director of the Division in 2017. Thank you!\n\n\n \n \n\n\nLUNCHEON/RSVP POLICY - Our Luncheon /RSVP Policy is that attendees pre-register for all chamber luncheons\, regular monthly luncheons as well as Women In Business luncheons. When you pre-register\, we are better able to plan with the restaurants we are dealing with for the right amount of meals. Pre-registration (RSVP) must be done 3 business days prior (Friday noon for a Wednesday luncheon) and walk-ins will not be able to be accommodated. Special dietary needs must be arranged 3 business days prior and will not be accommodated day of event. Some luncheons require earlier response. Fee for regular member luncheon is $25 and non-members are $30 pre-paid. Cancelation and no-shows will be charged $25. Payment will be expected in advance or at the door\; no invoicing available. Some luncheons with other groups or special events may have different fees. We do appreciate your consideration and cooperation on this policy.
