Foundation Awards Grants to WCCHS Teachers

The Community High School District 94 Educational Foundation recently awarded grants to three West Chicago Community High School teachers. The awarded grants totaled $7,860.
Mark Begovich, Language Arts teacher and drama director, was awarded a grant in the amount of $1,200 for registrations for the Gilder-Lehrman “Hamilton” Partnership event to be held on Feb. 7, 2018.
Brianne Ferreiro, Science teacher, was awarded a grant in the amount of $660 for registrations to the Sam Rhine Conference to be held on Feb. 13, 2018.
Allister Scott, assistant principal for teaching and learning, was awarded a grant in the amount of $6,000 for Advance Placement (AP) testing fees for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch (low income students).
